Plant Sale

The United Methodist Women will be having a plant sale on Mother's Day, May 11th, between the worship services. Beautiful plants have been ordered from Borella nurseries. Please help support our Mission projects with the purchase of some plants!

Martha's Place Thrift Shop

Now that the weather is starting to get warmer, we have been busy hanging up our Spring and Summer clothes. We have some new fashionable clothes in many sizes; come in and check them out!

As always, we're looking for volunteers to help us. We welcome any hours you can spare.

Vacation Bible School

VBS will be coming to our church on July 14-18 (9am - noon).

Each day you'll see kids surfing through the scriptures!!


What should you expect at a beach party? Each day kids will be exposed to a Bible point as well as a corresponding Bible story and verse. These stories and verses will be reinforced using songs, crafts, games, and even a science activity. Beach party will be swimming with fun for every one!

to the family of Susan Krummeck, who joined the saints triumphant on April 11, 2008. A celebration of Death and Resurrection was held on Monday, Apr. 14. Please keep her husband, Tedd, and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Our Nursery School is in need of teacher assistants. If you have a love for working with young children, give us a call at 467-9601. Positions will start in September.

Prayers

Here is a special prayer from Agnes Kirschenheiter. It's a doxology which was written by her grandson when he was in the sixth grade. Raymond is now serving our country for his third tour of duty in Iraq. Please pray for his safe return.

Sympathy

Trustee nomination

Tom Darak is nominated to complete an unexpired term for Trustee. Election to be held at the Church Council meeting on May 1st.
